About me
Ing. Martin Perešíni, Ph.D., is a Postdoctoral Research Assistant in the Communication Systems Group (CSG) at the Department of Informatics (IFI), University of Zurich. He recently defended his Ph.D. at the Faculty of Information Technology, Brno University of Technology, where he works with the BlockSec@FIT and Security@FIT research groups, supervised by doc. Ing. Ivan Homoliak, Ph.D., and doc. Mgr. Kamil Malinka, Ph.D. His research focuses on system security, applied cryptography, and consensus protocols. He has published works on incentive-compatible DAG-oriented blockchain consensus and zero-knowledge SNARK marketplaces. His research spans the performance and deployment trade-offs of modern zero-knowledge proving systems and the migration of post-quantum cryptography onto constrained IoT hardware. Beyond his research, he has lectured on Blockchain and Decentralized Applications and supervised student theses.
